Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferable one-year experience in a long term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and conducting of individual, small and large group activities.
• Assist in providing good communication between employees, residents, families and outside agencies.
• Assist in development of monthly activity calendar and maintaining attendance records.
• Assist in arranging transportation for residents for outings, appointments or discharge.
• Assist in developing a monthly activity schedule including outings and in-room activities for bed-bound residents.
