Job summary

Tucson Unified School District is seeking a 21st CCLC Certified Instructor to provide academic interventions and enrichment for students in the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program.

The instructor will develop and deliver engaging lessons, support student achievement, and promote positive youth development in a safe, inclusive environment at Magee Middle School—12-month calendar and a 0.0 FTE part-time position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate, Substitute Teacher Certificate, or Guidance Counseling Certificate.
• Current IVP fingerprint clearance card.
• Experience working with school-age children in classroom, out of school, or educational settings.
• Knowledge of effective instructional practices and student engagement strategies.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, families, and community partners.
• Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
