Job summary

Planted Earth Landscaping seeks motivated helpers to support residential landscape projects across Maryland, Virginia, and D.C. You will assist with planting, bed preparation, and routine enhancements under the Crew Leader’s guidance.

Applicants should be physically capable, reliable, and eager to learn. Prior landscaping experience helps, but is not required, and strong teamwork is valued in our collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates welcome; prior landscaping experience not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are valued.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape enhancements and improvements at residential properties, including planting trees, shrubs, perennials, and seasonal plant material.
• Prepare planting beds and lawns, including soil preparation, digging holes, mulching, edging, and installing sod or seed.
• Assist with landscape renovations, plant replacements, and other enhancement projects as directed by the Crew Leader.
• Follow proper planting and horticultural practices to support plant health and long-term landscape performance.
• Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power equipment, and other landscaping equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites, vehicles, and equipment.
• Work collaboratively with the Crew Leader and team members to complete projects efficiently and to quality standards.
