• Ability to read manuals, write documents and solve practical problems.

Responsibilities

• Administer First Aid and medical assistance as directed by healthcare professionals and teachers.
• Provide physical care for students with disabilities, including handling wheelchairs and safety restraints.
• Collaborate with teachers and special education teams to adapt and implement activities and assessments.
• Attend trainings, in-services and meetings to stay updated on procedures.
• Communicate with staff to support progress tracking and IEP objectives.
• Implement behavior plans and learning contracts to support student behavior.
• Maintain organized files and records, including instructional materials.
• Supervise students during meals, bus stops, playtime, field trips and other activities.
• Operate assistive technology and instructional equipment to support learning.
• Review classroom lessons and learning experiences with students needing extra help.
• Adhere to school policies and attendance expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support classroom and school operations.
