Bombardier is seeking a seasoned Engr Methods professional for the US Aerostructures division. The role focuses on determining requirements, implementing new manufacturing equipment, and developing long-range strategies for processes and facility layouts.

You will monitor workflows, assess costs and risks, and prepare essential documents. We value extensive experience in methods and manufacturing planning, with opportunities for hybrid work where applicable.

Qualificações

• Typically a minimum of 9 years of experience in Methods, Material Planning, or related area.

Responsabilidades

• Determines requirements for and implements new manufacturing equipment
• Develops long range strategies for manufacturing processes and facility layout
• Monitors project workflow and adjusts personnel tasks to support project activities
• Analyzes feasibility according to optimal methods by assessing the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production
• Drafts the necessary working and repair documents
• Analyzes equipment and workstation production capacity
• Analyzes requirements and initiates productions tool purchase orders, including ECAAR
• Assists in revision of shop floor layout and new manufacturing equipment requirements
• Assists with validating and approving the compliance of engineering drawings/documents, tool design concept, etc.
• Prepares manufacturing manpower estimates
• Creates overall Numerical Control Manufacturing Plans
• Develops and maintains Methods procedures
