The role involves translating from English into Yiddish, ensuring accuracy of content, terminology, and tone for a New York audience.

Applicants should have at least three years of professional experience, native or near-native Yiddish, and strong English skills, with familiarity with MemoQ and PDF workflows.

Formación

• Native or near-native Yiddish with strong English skills.

• Experience with NY Hasidic Yiddish-speaking audience preferred.
• Familiarity with General and Human Rights domains is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Translate English documents into Yiddish with accurate tone and terminology.
• Review and edit existing Yiddish translations for fluency and accuracy.
• Provide proofreading and QA for English–Yiddish content.
• Ensure suitability for a New York Hasidic audience and local nuances.
• Annotate PDFs and work with MemoQ and Adobe tools as needed.
