Job summary

Alignerr, powered by Labelbox, is seeking an English Writing Generalist for remote, hourly contract work focused on quality review of AI training content. Expect 10–40 hours per week with asynchronous scheduling.

You will review AI-generated English content for grammar, tone, clarity, and style, improving readability without changing meaning and delivering actionable feedback to help AI systems improve. Remote work offers flexibility and autonomy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Humanities, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
• Strong proofreading and editing instincts with a sharp eye for detail.
• Excellent command of written English—grammar, syntax, tone, and style.

Who You Are

• Based in the United States
• Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Humanities, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• Strong proofreading and editing instincts with a sharp eye for detail
• Excellent command of written English — grammar, syntax, tone, and style
• Comfortable evaluating large volumes of content efficiently and consistently
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Background in editing, copywriting, content strategy, or journalism
• Experience with style guides (AP, Chicago, MLA, etc.)
• Familiarity with AI writing tools or content evaluation workflows
