This remote, hourly contract role offers 10–40 hours per week and the opportunity to shape how AI systems produce written English. You will make nuanced decisions on wording and tone, review complex content for clarity, and provide structured feedback with clear rationale.

Who You Are

• Advanced English writing and editing experience with a strong portfolio of judgment-driven work
• Master's Degree or higher in English, Humanities, Journalism, or a related discipline
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot subtle issues in tone, logic, and language
• Comfortable working independently on complex, open-ended tasks
• Strong critical thinking and the ability to articulate editorial decisions clearly
• No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience in editorial, publishing, content strategy, or professional writing roles
• Familiarity with style guides (AP, Chicago, MLA, etc.)
• Background in quality assurance, proofreading, or academic writing
