Job summary

Alignerr, powered by Labelbox, is seeking an English Writing Generalist for remote, hourly contract work focused on quality review of AI training content. Expect 10–40 hours per week with asynchronous scheduling.

You will review AI-generated English content for grammar, tone, clarity, and style, improving readability without changing meaning and delivering actionable feedback to help AI systems improve. Remote work offers flexibility and autonomy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Humanities, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
• Strong proofreading and editing instincts with a sharp eye for detail.
• Excellent command of written English—grammar, syntax, tone, and style.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated English content for grammar, tone, clarity, and style issues.
• Improve readability and flow without altering the original meaning.
• Flag inconsistencies, ambiguous language, and structural weaknesses.
• Apply consistent editorial judgment across a high volume of content.
• Provide structured, actionable feedback that helps AI systems improve over time.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
