Job summary

Norwest Christian College is seeking an energetic English Teacher to join our faith-based community from Term 1, 2027. This full-time role focuses on English instruction, faith formation and character development in a supportive environment.

You will collaborate with the English team, develop Stage 4-6 resources and lessons aligned with the NSW syllabus, and contribute to extracurricular life within the College.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with staff and students.
• Experience collaborating to develop integrated learning for junior students.
• Experience teaching Stage 6 English and knowledge of NSW Stage 6 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Contribute dynamically to the English team by creating rich learning experiences and strengthening student learning and dispositions.
• Develop resources, assessment tasks and lessons aligned with Stage 4-5 English Syllabus, including technology integration and project-based learning.
• Teach Stage 6 English courses with NSW syllabus requirements and knowledge of NESA expectations.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and build connections with students, staff and the wider school community.
