Chichester School District is seeking a dedicated High School English Teacher to join our team at Chichester High School. You will plan and teach curriculum-aligned courses, analyze students’ needs, and prepare them for college, career, and civic success in a student-centered learning environment.

The position requires 3–5 years of high school teaching, a Bachelor's degree, and PA Secondary English Certification (7–12).

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of classroom teaching experience at high school level.
• Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degree preferred.
• Current PA Secondary English Certification (7-12).
• Demonstrated understanding of educational technology integration in the classroom.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective instructional strategies for diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation, listening, and observational skills.

This individual will analyze students' academic needs and prepare them for college, career, and civic success.

The successful candidate will plan and teach curriculum-aligned courses and collaborate with colleagues while encouraging the potential in every student. This teacher will be responsible for the overall coordination of instruction in their subject area, including executing well-developed lesson plans, accurately assessing student progress, and actively participating in school and district functions.
