The successful candidatewill plan and teach curriculum-aligned courses and collaborate with colleagues while encouraging the potential in every student. This teacher will be responsible for the overall coordination of instruction in their subject area, including executing well-developed lesson plans, accurately assessing student progress, and actively participating in school and district functions.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• 3-5 years of relevant classroom teaching experience at the high school level, with an understanding of adolescent developmental, social, and academic needs
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
• Current PA Secondary English Certification (7-12)
• Demonstrated understanding of educational technology integration in the classroom
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective instructional strategies for diverse learning styles and abilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation, listening, and observational skills

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
