Job summary

Applitrack in the United States is seeking a Tutor to provide targeted academic support for English Learner students. The role reports to the building principal or supervising administrator and focuses on EL instruction and progress documentation.

Responsibilities include providing individual or small group instruction, collaborating with teachers on interventions, and maintaining documentation of services for up to 19 hours per week while upholding the district’s mission and strategic plan.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Passing scores on WorkKeys or 48 college credits.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Other requirements as outlined by the Board and the Administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or small group instruction to English Learner (EL) students.
• Provide documentation of English Learner (EL) student progress.
• Work with teacher(s) to determine appropriate interventions.
• Maintain required documentation of services provided up to 19 hours per week.
• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
• Supports the Hattiesburg Public School District Mission, Vision, and Strategic Plan.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
