Washoe County School District seeks a Classroom Teacher to deliver direct instruction and oversee student learning at a recognized school site. The role involves planning, assessing, and refining instruction to meet Nevada standards and district policies.

You will serve as the teacher of record, implement approved curricula, and communicate with families while maintaining accurate records and professional conduct.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and completion of an approved teacher preparation program.
• Completion of required Nevada training and licensure prerequisites as applicable.
• Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Nevada teaching license for the assigned grade/subject.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct educational service to students through instruction, supervision, assessment, feedback, intervention, enrichment, and student support.
• Serve as the teacher of record for assigned students, courses, grade levels, or programs.
• Implement District-approved curriculum and standards, and maintain alignment with school priorities.
• Plan, deliver, assess, and continuously improve instruction based on student progress.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with parents/guardians and administration.
• Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, well-managed classroom environment.
