Washoe County School District seeks a Classroom Teacher dedicated to delivering high‑quality instruction aligned with Nevada standards. You will plan lessons, assess student progress, and support families while managing a respectful, inclusive classroom.

The role emphasizes collaboration with administrators and colleagues to ensure student growth and compliance with district policies and state law. This position is based in a school setting within Washoe County.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and completion of an approved teacher preparation program.
• Completion of training required by Nevada law, District policy, and the Nevada Department of Education.
• Possession of or ability to obtain a Nevada teaching license and required endorsements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct educational service to students through instruction, supervision, assessment, and feedback.
• Serve as the teacher of record for assigned students and courses.
• Implement District-approved curriculum and state standards.
• Plan, deliver, and continuously improve instruction based on student needs and progress.
• Maintain accurate records including attendance, grades, and communications with families.
• Communicate and collaborate with students, families, and staff to support learning.
