Washoe County School District in Reno, Nevada seeks an experienced English Language Arts classroom teacher to join McQueen High School campus. The role involves delivering CCSS-aligned instruction and maintaining a positive, inclusive learning environment.

You will plan lessons, assess student progress, collaborate with staff, and support diverse learners as part of a professional learning community. This is a full-time, on-site position with a strong focus on equity, MTSS, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college with student teaching experience.
• Ability to obtain a Nevada teaching license in the relevant subject/grade.
• Experience designing CCSS-aligned instruction and assessments.
