• Alabama Professional Educator Certificate with EL/ESL certification or eligibility.
• Knowledge of WIDA English Language Development Standards and ACCESS assessments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' English language proficiency using WIDA ACCESS and other state-approved screening and assessment tools.
• Deliver engaging English language instruction that supports listening, speaking, reading, and writing development.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement instructional strategies, accommodations, and supports for English Learners.
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and complete required state and federal documentation.
• Participate in parent conferences, EL meetings, IEP meetings (when applicable), and collaborate with school staff to support student success.
• Ensure compliance with Alabama State Department of Education guidelines and federal Title III requirements for English Learner services.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Knowledge of WIDA English Language Development Standards, WIDA ACCESS assessments, and best practices for English language instruction.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• School-based experience preferred, not required
