Sky Ranch Academy in Aurora, CO is seeking an English Language Learners (ELL) At Risk Teacher for K-9th grade. The role focuses on delivering ELL instruction, collaborating with teachers, and monitoring language progress within EL/ML programs.

Applicants must hold a valid teaching license for the applicable state grade levels and ideally possess a CLD endorsement or be on a licensure pathway with a CLD endorsement within 2 years. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid teacher license in the applicable grade level for the state in which you are applying.
• Candidates for English Language (EL) Teacher positions should preferably hold a CLD Education endorsement. Minimally, candidates for this position must be on an approved pathway for gaining licensure and obtain a CLD endorsement within 2 years of certification.

Responsibilities

• Plans and delivers lessons to promote students’ English language development.
• Collaborates with classroom teachers and specialists to ensure EL/MLs progress across content areas using Sheltered Instruction and English Language Development models.
• Administers formative and summative assessments to monitor language progress and achievement.
• Completes documentation required for compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Completes daily logs of student services.
• Attends regular professional development offerings.
• Be available for afternoon and evening parent-teacher conferences and school events.
• Additional duties as assigned.

$62,833.00 to $68,597.00 will be the pay range and is commensurate with experience, education, and market as defined by NHA. The pay range listed is just one component of NHA's total compensation package.
