Job summary

Sky Ranch Academy, part of National Heritage Academies, seeks an English Language (EL) Teacher in Colorado. The role focuses on developing English language skills for EL/ML students, with a CLD endorsement preferred and licensure in the applicable state.

You will collaborate with teachers and specialists, administer assessments, complete required documentation, and participate in parent conferences and school events while supporting a positive, safety-minded culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid teacher license in the applicable grade level for the state in which you are applying.
• Candidates should preferably hold a CLD Education endorsement. If not yet endorsed, must pursue licensure pathway and obtain CLD endorsement within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Plans and delivers lessons to promote students’ English language development.
• Collaborates with teachers and specialists to support EL/ML achievement across content areas.
• Administers formative and summative language progress assessments.
• Completes documentation for state and federal guidelines.
• Attends professional development and parent conferences and school events.
