Job summary

Sky Ranch Academy in Watkins, Colorado, seeks a Title I paraprofessional to support students with IEP/504 plans, providing 1:1 or small-group instructional and behavioral assistance as directed by the special education team.

You will implement targeted curriculum for diverse needs, participate in professional development and IEP meetings, and assist with required compliance documentation to support student progress.

Qualifications

• Must meet state requirements for being a Title 1 paraprofessional.
• Ability to defuse situations and prevent escalation.
• Aptitude to understand and navigate technical systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess student abilities and provide instructional and behavioral assistance for students in accordance with their IEP and/or 504 behavior plan as directed by the special education team.
• Commit to educating the whole student – academically, morally, and socially.
• Implement result-driven curriculum and instruction specially designed to meet the unique needs of each student resulting from his/her disability such as, resource room, inclusion and/or pullout services.
• Attend professional development, specialized trainings and IEP meetings with special education team and parents as required.
• Assist with the required compliance documentation.

$18.75 to $18.75 will be the pay range and is commensurate with experience, education, and market as defined by NHA. The pay range listed is just one component of NHA's total compensation package.
