Job description

English Language Arts Teacher ~ for the 2025-2026 School Year

This is a full-time English Language Arts teaching position at F. Niel Postlethwait Middle School.

Qualifications

• Individuals eligible for or possessing Middle Level English Language Arts Teacher certification are encouraged to apply.
• Applicants must meet State of Delaware certification requirements for English Language Arts Education.
• Successful candidates must provide evidence of PRAXIS II scores or a valid out-of-state teaching license.

Out-of-State Candidates

• Applicants with less than 1 year of experience will be placed on an Initial License.
• Applicants with 1-4 years of experience will also receive an Initial License.
• The Delaware DOE may recognize standard certificates from other states for eligibility.
