Job summary

Lanier Technical College in Hall County Campus is seeking a full-time English Instructor to develop courses, prepare lesson plans, and evaluate student progress. The role reports to the Dean of General Education and offers a mid-60’s salary dependent on education, experience, and qualifications.

Responsibilities include scheduling, syllabus development, counseling student recruitment and retention, and maintaining required documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in English or Master’s with 18 graduate hours in English from a regionally accredited college/university.
• Must work well with diverse students in various settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop program and course outlines, goals, and objectives.
• Prepare lesson plans for credited English courses.
• Evaluate students’ progress toward goals and objectives.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and budget requests; maintain documentation.
• Meet with students and staff to discuss instructional programs.
