Ensign College in Salt Lake City is seeking a Student Employee - English General Education TA to support General Education courses by grading, providing feedback, and entering grades.

You must be enrolled at least 6 credits, communicate effectively in writing, and be proficient with Office 365 and Canvas. Work 15-19 hours per week at $14/hour with potential $0.25 raise each semester based on merit.

Qualifications

• Be currently enrolled as an Ensign College student taking at least 6 credits.
• Ability to produce effective written correspondence through email and other written communication.
• Ability to communicate effectively, listen, and respond appropriately.
• Proficient in Office 365 and Canvas.
• Experience having taken ENG 101, ENG 201, ENG 301 and/or related classes is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Correct student homework accurately and in a timely manner from a variety of general education classes.
• Give partial credit and feedback according to an established grading rubric.
• Communicate effectively with instructors regarding their grading needs.
• Enter grades into either Canvas or a spreadsheet.
• Help department administration with projects as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow FERPA regulations.
