Job summary

Rappahannock Community College seeks an English Teaching Faculty member for the Glenns campus. This full-time, 9-month faculty rank position offers an excellent benefits package and a salary range of $52,905 to $81,811, commensurate with education and experience.

The primary duties include developing and maintaining quality English curriculum, teaching 15 credit hours per semester, advising students, mentoring adjunct and dual enrollment faculty, and participating in college committees.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining quality English curriculum and teaching high-quality courses.
• Teach 15 credit hours per semester and participate in academic advising.
• Mentor adjunct and dual enrollment faculty and engage in service on college committees.
• Utilize classroom teaching technologies and adapt delivery modes (on‑campus, online, hybrid).
• Finalists will be asked to perform a teaching demonstration.
