Rappahannock Community College on the Glenns campus seeks an English Faculty member. This is a full-time, 9-month faculty ranked position with benefits.

Salary range $52,905 - $81,811, commensurate with education and experience; start date January 2, 2027. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining quality English curriculum, teaching 15 credit hours per semester, advising students, mentoring adjuncts, and participating in college committees; teaching may occur day, evening, weekend,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in English or 18 graduate hours in English and one year of post-secondary teaching experience.
• Experience using advanced instructional technology including video, audio, and interactive educational software; familiarity with CANVAS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality English curriculum and teach courses in English.
• Teach 15 credit hours per semester; schedules may include day, evening, weekend, on/off-campus, online or hybrid classes.
• Provide academic advising, minimum 10 office hours per week, and participate in college committees.

Education

Master's degree in English or Master's with 18 graduate hours in English
