Job summary

ALSO. is seeking an Engineering Technical Lead – Engineering Triage to spearhead the technical triage function across embedded firmware, mobile apps, cloud services, and connected systems.

You will establish processes, ownership of intake and prioritization, and partner with multiple engineering teams to ensure rapid, high-quality resolutions. You will mentor engineers, develop dashboards, and drive improvements in observability, release readiness, and incident response in a fast-moving startup

Qualifications

• 8+ years of embedded software and/or cloud services experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering investigations across firmware, mobile, cloud, and connected devices.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across multiple software layers and hardware interfaces.
• Familiarity with OTA, CAN debugging tools, RTOS, and Linux-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Engineering Triage function with defined processes and workflows across firmware, mobile apps, cloud services, and connected systems.
• Own intake, prioritization, investigation, and assignment of engineering issues from support, field ops, and product teams.
• Drive cross-functional root-cause analysis and remove blockers to ensure timely issue resolution and release quality.
• Develop dashboards and telemetry to track issue aging, trends, and engineering throughput; mentor engineers in structured debugging.
