Job description

Designer: Be part of a team that designs, modifies, writes, and implements test equipment solutions, including hardware design and software programs using Robot / Cucumber for non-Web applications, Python, Microcontroller programming, UART communication protocols, .NET, Visual Studio, OpenSSL, Security tools, WiFi chip programming tools, etc. You will support the development or investigation/analysis of issues to root cause, propose fixes, implement changes, and verify & validate the final solutions for the development and testing of Smoke / CO alarms (both standalone, interconnected, and IoT products). You will collaborate with development and test engineers to convert requirements into deliverable products.

Lab: Be part of a team that builds test racks, uses test equipment and instrumentation to test product designs. You will work with cross-functional teams, including Test Engineers and developers, to test products throughout the development cycle. Your role includes investigating and analyzing issues to root cause, proposing fixes, and verifying & validating solutions. Engage in the full product lifecycle, from inception to final product, performing hands-on lab work to test, verify, and validate that products meet customer requirements. Use your creativity to develop testing concepts for a leading industry.

JOB DUTIES:

• Setup and maintenance of test benches/racks and equipment
• Manual and automated testing of devices, focusing on firmware
• Firmware Verification and Validation
• Documentation reviews
• Requirements reviews

• Device inventory management

YOU MUST HAVE:

• 3+ years experience in electrical engineering
• 3+ years experience in firmware test automation
