Job summary

Origin AI in Rockville, MD is seeking an Engineering Technician to support testing from prototype evaluation through verification and validation. You will help assemble, test, and ship sensing systems to potential customers and external testers, while collaborating with multiple teams to drive product quality.

You should have an associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical field, be tech-savvy, and capable of writing test plans and cases.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Experience developing test methodologies and test plans.
• Familiarity with Linux.
• Ability to write test cases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of Origin’s WiFi Sensing technology and B2B integration models.
• Assist the quality team with system level testing; identify and escalation issues.
• Assist the product and engineering teams with prototype testing and evaluation, including test documentation.
• Assemble, kit, track, and refurb prototype sensing systems that are sent to potential B2B customers and/or external product testers for evaluation.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
• Manage the Origin “demo house” in partnership with Sales Engineering.
