Origin AI in Rockville, MD is seeking an Engineering Technician to support testing from prototype evaluation through verification and validation. You will help assemble, test, and ship sensing systems to potential customers and external testers, while collaborating with multiple teams to drive product quality.
You should have an associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical field, be tech-savvy, and capable of writing test plans and cases.

About the Job:
As an Engineering Technician at Origin, you will help with various aspects of testing from prototype evaluation, to data collection for product development, to verification and validation. You will also assist the sales team with product demos, maintain the sensing systems in our demo house, assemble and kit sensing systems to be sent to external parties for evaluation, and more. You will report to the Director of Quality Assurance, but in your unique role you will engage with multiple departments. Successful Engineering Technicians have a passion for cutting edge technology, a curious mindset, and a high level of attention to detail.
