The City of Kawartha Lakes is seeking an Engineering Technician to support capital projects across water, wastewater and solid waste infrastructure. You will work under supervision, contributing to drawings, estimates, contracts and coordination of Consultants and Contractors.

Minimum two years' municipal experience and a post-secondary Civil Engineering diploma are preferred. The role requires a G-class driver’s license and occasional travel within the City.

Formación

• Post-secondary diploma in Civil Engineering or related field and municipal experience preferred.
• Pursuing certification with the Ontario Association of Certified Technicians and Technologists.
• Proficiency with Total Station surveys and layout is required.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct field investigations and define scope for water, wastewater and solid waste projects.
• Prepare drawings, specs, estimates and contract docs (RFT/RFP/RQ).
• Coordinate consultants and contractors through design and construction stages.
• Review designs, specs, studies and tender documents for compliance.
