Job summary

Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Engineering Technician at Lackland AFB-San Antonio, TX. The role supports network design research, server validation testing, and data collection in a security-cleared environment.

You will install and configure Windows and Linux OS, troubleshoot validation platforms, and assist in engineering tasks across testing, development, and production workflows. U.S. citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Two-year degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience as an Engineering Technician.
• Experience with COMSEC equipment.
• Experience installing, troubleshooting Windows and Linux OS environments.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze network design.
• Conduct engineering tests and troubleshoot on server validation platforms.
• Build, configure and test server validation platforms.
• Install Windows/Linux OS and software applications.
• Configure/test network KVMs and power distribution units.
• Troubleshoot validation platforms to yield desired results.
• Communicate results and notify gating issues.
• Perform initial reviews of test results and upload output data to repositories.
• Other duties as assigned.
