Job summary

Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer III located at Lackland AFB, Texas. This role supports DoD programs with engineering and acquisition support, system integration, and performance analysis to ensure mission success.

Applicants must be a US citizen with TS/SCI clearance, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering (or related field), and at least four years in an engineering role within a DoD environment.

Qualifications

• Must be US Citizen with TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of engineering experience with DoD environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Early Systems Engineering Program support with engineering and acquisition tasks.
• Apply engineering expertise to systems including configuration and data management, and security.
• Manage complex interfaces and ensure effective integration of subsystems.
• Verify system requirements meet user needs and assist in design, fabrication, testing and evaluation.
• Perform capability analyses, select components, and ensure DoD/commercial standards compliance.
• Create models/simulations to demonstrate meeting user requirements.
