The City of Shoreview is accepting applications to fill a vacant position in our Public Works Department. The position will be filled as either a Senior Engineering Technician or Engineering Technician, depending on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities include working with engineering staff on design and construction observation of public works projects such as street, traffic, water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater infrastructure. The role involves collaboration with engineers, maintenance staff, and contractors to deliver quality projects for residents.

Strong candidates will have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with additional hours during the construction season as needed.

This position offers a flexible work policy, with potential to flex hours based on project needs and employee preference, subject to supervisor approval.

Wage Ranges:

• Engineering Technician: $33.30 - $36.71 per hour, plus benefits
• Senior Engineering Technician: $40.79 - $44.97 per hour, plus benefits
