The engineer works from drawings and manuals, with supervision, and helps teammates in specialized areas. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with substantial related experience, or an associate's degree with related experience, and offers the unique 9/80

Qualifications

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Familiarity with electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the construction, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical systems.
Perform testing, alignment checks, adjustments, and modifications following established procedures.
Operate related test equipment and record data in prescribed formats.
Work from engineering drawings, schematics, manuals, and instructions to complete technical tasks.
Serve as a resource to other technicians within your areas of expertise.
