You will work from schematics and manuals, support design and testing, and mentor junior staff in a mission-driven environment. The position is a 2nd shift - 9/80 schedule, offering hands-on engineering support and opportunities to enhance manufacturing

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• Experience resolving complex technical issues requiring independent judgment.
• Ability to support process improvements and recommend new procedures or methods.
• Proficiency with test equipment, diagnostic tools, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced construction, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, repair, and maintenance across electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical systems.
• Diagnose complex issues, isolate faults, and verify system performance using documentation and advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct calibration, alignment, and functional checks; document results in prescribed formats.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to lower-level technicians on tasks and technical approaches.
• Recommend solutions to technical issues using judgment to resolve challenges.
