This experienced role requires strong judgment, initiative, and problem-solving ability to resolve complex technical issues while mentoring junior technicians and supporting calibration, repair, and system verification in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of relevant experience, or 2-year degree with 4+ years related experience.
• Experience with advanced test equipment and documentation.
• Ability to mentor junior technicians and work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced testing, calibration, repair, and maintenance on electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical systems.
• Diagnose faults and verify system performance using procedures and equipment.
• Conduct calibrations, alignments, and functional checks with proper documentation.
• Mentor and guide junior technicians.
• Propose solutions to technical challenges and support process improvements.
