Job summary

MillerKnoll is seeking an Engineering Technician to provide engineering support for Operations. The role involves resolving safety, downtime, and quality issues, and developing process documentation with cross-functional teams.

The candidate will read routings and drawings, operate PC-based systems, and apply engineering principles to drive improvements in a manufacturing environment. On-site role with standard hours.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience as a TMO or Engineering Technician.
• Experience with Excel and Word.
• Apply basic engineering procedures and practices.
• Work to deadlines and completions.
• Manage own workload and be self-motivated.
• Team player skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineering and Operations to resolve Safety Issues.
• Work with Maintenance to resolve Machine downtime issues.
• Work with Engineering and Operations to resolve Quality issues.
• Develop process documentation with engineering and operations.
• Read routings and part drawings to diagnose issues.
• Operate PC-based computer systems and determine improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across Operations, Engineering and Maintenance.
• Maintain accuracy of information and meet 100% on-time goals.
