Job summary

Flextronics - The Flex Company is seeking an Engineering Technician in Austin, TX to support development and testing of customer products. You will work under the Process Engineering Manager and interface with customers to present data and solutions.

The role requires performing complex tests, analyzing results, and assisting with hardware/software testing, with a typical first shift (6:00am-2:30pm). A technical associate degree or equivalent experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Linux operating systems and command line tools.
• Experience debugging hardware and software interactions.
• Familiar with server hardware, networking gear, and switch configurations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and delivery of customer presentations.
• Interface with customers to review requirements and test results.
• Perform complex engineering tests and analyze results to drive changes.
• Assemble and modify mechanical components for product testing.
• Record procedures, results, and recommendations with clear documentation.
