Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Experience operating and programming CNC laser cutting equipment preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD software for reading and creating drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with design, development, and testing of products and tooling.
• Read and revise engineering drawings and BOMs using CAD software.
• Program, set up, and operate laser cutting equipment per specifications.
• Develop laser programs to improve cycle time and material usage.
• Troubleshoot laser equipment and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Support new product introductions with prototypes and feedback.
• Read blueprints to ensure parts meet design requirements.
• Maintain records of laser programs, setups, and materials.
