Job summary

Randstad USA seeks an Engineering Technician in Kohler, WI for a contract role performing testing on premium plumbing products. A Science Associate degree and 2–3 years of lab experience with mechanical aptitude are required.

The position runs 8am-5pm, with hourly pay between $22.22 and $27.48. Responsibilities include executing test procedures, maintaining records, and preparing professional reports for customers.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude for testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of test procedures (ASME, CSA, ASTM, IAPMO) on plumbing products using environmental chambers and universal testing machines.
• Maintain detailed records of procedures, evaluate performance, and write clear technical reports for customers.
• Execute preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration on lab equipment per ISO 17025.
• Prepare test samples, perform precise color matching, and optimize daily testing workflows.
• Collaborate with senior staff and interface with customers to discuss deviations and support objectives.
