Radial Solutions Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Engineering Technician IV to support the NASA METTS contract. The role focuses on developing, reviewing, and modifying engineering designs, and conducting complex tests to identify improvements.

Occasional overtime and diverse shifts may be required to meet contract needs. Responsibilities include designing schematics, operating advanced test equipment, and collaborating with engineers to resolve data-driven issues.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of science or engineering.
• Specialized training or certification related to test facilities, stands, labs, or chambers.
• Ability to prepare design drawings and assist with machinery/equipment modification.
• Ability to communicate clearly with peers, supervisors and customers.
• Welding and welding-prep experience, including orbital welding (certification).

Responsabilités

• Develop or review designs by extracting and analyzing engineering data to produce schematics, designs, and parts lists.
• Conduct complex tests/experiments; operate equipment, record data, and prepare reports.
• Assist in design modification and prototype development; evaluate data and findings.
• Extract and compile engineering data from field notes and reports; identify inconsistencies.
• Work with electrical, electronic, or mechanical components; perform non-routine tasks of substantial variety.
