Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Must obtain and maintain NASA public trust.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and wear PPE.
• Ability to communicate with peers, supervisors and customers.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Must follow written and verbal instructions.
• Provide semi-professional technical support for engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop or review designs by analyzing engineering data and preparing schematics.
• Conduct complex tests or experiments and analyze data; prepare reports.
• Apply methods to limited research and development projects and build prototypes.
• Extract and compile engineering data from field notes and reports.
• Assist in design modification by compiling data on specifications and materials.
• Work in unique, hazardous test facilities and operate specialized equipment.
