Job summary

Radial Solutions Inc. (RSi) is seeking an Engineering Technician III to support NASA Marshall Space Flight Center under the METTS contract.

The role involves assembling simple equipment, installing instrumentation, and performing routine maintenance under defined procedures. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, plus knowledge of science/engineering and mathematics, with experience in Windows/MS Office and basic electrical tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Practical knowledge of science or engineering.
• Practical knowledge of mathematics.
• Ability to work from written and verbal instructions.
• Associate degree or 3 years technical experience preferred.
• Experience with Windows OS and MS Office products.
• Experience with forklifts, aerial lifts, and bridge cranes.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Dependable and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Assemble or construct simple or standard equipment or parts per instructions.
• Maintain and install mechanical and instrumentation components such as strain gauges, transducers, thermocouples, load cells, hydraulic actuators, tubing.
• Conduct tests, prepare specimens, record data, and note deviations.
• Extract and process engineering data from prescribed sources; present data as required.
• Perform instrumentation applications, data collection, and basic electrical tasks.
• Assist with handling and operation of test articles; support team members.
