Job summary

Northrop Grumman Vandenberg Integration Site (VSFB) is seeking an Engineering Technician (Level 4) to join the on-site team responsible for assembly, integration, test, and launch activities across multiple launch vehicle programs. The role involves hands-on electrical integration, data analysis, and procedure development to support mission readiness.

You will work closely with engineers and technicians to perform tests, document results, and ensure compliance with mission requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret level security clearance, generally requiring US citizenship.
• Knowledge and experience with CAD software.
• Experience with design, integration, or testing of launch vehicles.
• Basic electrical testing and diagnostic experience.
• Ability to solve problems and drive tasks to completion.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Support development and production programs at VSFB site.
• Perform launch vehicle avionics hardware & software system and subsystem level integration, test and launch operations.
• Coordinate and support Electrical Technicians performing integration, test, checkout, operation, and maintenance of complex electronic flight, ground testing and launching systems.
• Hands-on electrical integration and test of flight hardware; maintain electronic or electro-mechanical components and systems.
• Create, edit, review, and maintain test procedures for manufacturing and launch pad operations.
• Support testing and evaluation/validation of electrical systems.
• Coordinate and perform testing with customer, MDA, and site range and safety personnel.
• Support maintenance and upgrading of Electrical Ground Support Equipment and its network.
• Troubleshoot, document, and disposition flight and test equipment discrepancies and pursue root cause actions.
• Evaluate and implement Lean solutions to decrease cycle times.
• Maintain launch day schedule and perform other duties as necessary.
