Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an Engineering Technician Summer Intern to support design and data solutions across Civil, Mechanical, Structural or Electrical disciplines. You will join a 100% employee-owned firm and gain hands-on experience on diverse projects.

Chosen candidates may relocate to Overland Park, KS or other listed cities and will work full-time in the office, with mentorship and training opportunities, using AutoCAD, MicroStation and Revit.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a 2 or 4 year Engineering Technology program.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• As an Intern you will work with the Virtual Design & Data Solutions Team and serve as a resource for an assigned function: Civil, Mechanical, Structural or Electrical.
• Utilize drafting and modeling software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit
• Meet budget and scheduling restraints
