Job summary

Emprise Corporation, a leader in Predictive Maintenance and Condition Monitoring, seeks professionals to support ship material assessments and readiness testing. You will assist with inspection reports, provide data entry support for vessel inspections, and work closely with shipboard teams to document findings and drive action plans.

Responsibilities include 3D scanning, root cause investigations, and coordinating multiple project timelines.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance.
  • Able to work onboard ships while underway.
  • Willing to travel up to 30% locally, domestically and internationally.
  • Able to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Support SMART, regulatory inspections and ship material assessments to determine condition.
  • Assist with development of post-assessment reports and action plans.
  • Support PEVI inspections with training and data entry support.
  • Conduct onboard Corrosion Assessments and debrief customers.
  • Perform 3D scanning of vessel spaces and debrief customers.
  • Serve as liaison to Shipboard Management Team in vessel life cycle management.
  • Install programs onto computers and mobile devices used for assessments.
  • Provide support for research projects and root cause investigations.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple project timelines and seek support as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Support Ship Material Assessment Readiness Testing (SMART), regulatory body inspections and other ship material assessments to accurately determine ship material and equipment condition
  • Assist with the development post assessment reports and action plans based on the inspections and assessments
  • Support Port Engineer Vessel Inspections (PEVI) with training and data entry support
  • Conduct onboard Corrosion Assessments, document work performed, and assist with a debrief for the customer
  • Conduct 3D scanning of vessel spaces, document work performed, and assist with a debrief for the customer
  • Serve as a liaison to the Shipboard Management Team, working closely with afloat and ashore team members in the life cycle management of the vessel
  • Install programs onto computer or computercontrolled equipment. Additionally provide support for installing applications on mobile devices used for assessments.
  • Provide support for research projects
  • Assist in root cause analysis investigations
  • Manage and prioritize multiple project timelines
  • Perform database verificationsRequest support from technical service centers when onsite procedures fail to solve maintenance problems
  • Any additional duties assigned to help assist in other departments
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
  • Ability to perform work onboard ships while underway
  • 30% travel ability to travel local, domestic, and internationally when required, occasionally at short notice
  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs., sit and/or stand for long periods of time
  • Current Passport

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, and job specific software applications

  • Strong verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills
  • SAMM experience
