Job summary

Valkyrie Enterprises Inc. seeks an Engineering Technician III to join our Norfolk team. The role focuses on the lifecycle of shore-site training systems, with hands-on installation and sustainment of infrastructure, hardware, cabling, IT systems and electrical components.

You will perform system modifications, participate in field deployments, and prepare schematics and drawings while maintaining QA data and documentation for government-built prototypes.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with trade/armed forces training.
• 7+ years of related experience in engineering modifications/installations.
• Experience analyzing shore-site installations and verifying dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Lifecycle management of shore-site training systems and modifications.
• Install and sustain infrastructures such as hardware, cabling, IT systems, and electrical components.
• Support shipboard training systems with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Prepare procedures for activations, upgrades and repairs at facilities.
• Read schematics, develop drawings and TDPs, and install equipment.
• Maintain records of tests, drawings and QA data; summarize results.
• Assist field or production activities including data collection and testing.
