Job summary

Ultradent Products Inc is seeking an Engineering Technician III to join our Research & Development team in South Jordan, UT. In this hands-on role you will build, modify, troubleshoot, and evaluate prototypes, test fixtures, and mechanical assemblies to support product and process development.

You’ll operate manual machining equipment, create CAD models, document results, and collaborate with engineers to turn ideas into working hardware while following safety and project plans.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical ability.
• Experience with machine building, prototyping, or related technical work.
• Experience with manual machining, including lathes and mills.
• Familiarity with testing methods and accurate data collection.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Build, modify, troubleshoot, and evaluate prototypes, test fixtures, equipment, and assemblies.
• Support product and process development through laboratory testing and experimentation.
• Perform tests according to procedures and accurately record results.
