Ultradent is seeking a Dental Materials Research Scientist to join our R&D team at headquarters in South Jordan, UT. The role focuses on developing new dental materials and devices, exploring polymeric and photo-curable systems, and transitioning ideas from concept to prototype.

The ideal candidate has a master’s degree with at least two years of research experience, and experience in the dental industry is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field with 2+ years of research experience preferred.
• Experience in dental industry is highly desirable.
• Candidates with MS or PhD are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test hypotheses to achieve product performance.
• Understand structure-property-processing relationships in materials.
• Work with interdisciplinary R&D team to advance dental materials.
• Document data thoroughly using ELN and LIMS systems.
• Present findings to stakeholders using PowerPoint.
