The position requires an associate degree or equivalent with 5 years of practical experience in design and documentation, plus strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in engineering tech, math, or science with 5 years design experience.
• Alternative electronics training with 5 years design experience accepted.
• Four-year electronics apprenticeship plus 5 years design experience accepted.
• High school diploma/GED with 7 years design experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Design, prepare and modify engineering documents and drawings.
• Construct components or simple models and adapt standard equipment.
• Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions.
• Follow layout/diagrams to assemble devices and subunits.
• Collect and process engineering data, identify errors, support design changes.
• Deliver independent work with supervisor guidance as needed.
• Review work for technical adequacy and instruction conformity.
